We invite you to join us for our Women’s Retreat—an opportunity to encounter Him like never before.

This refreshing weekend will occur at the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Valencia, California. The hotel is within walking distance of the Westfield Town Center, fast food, and sit-down restaurants.

Meet Your Speakers:

Vicky Loman: Vicky was saved at "Outreach for Christ" on Monterey and King in Bakersfield, CA (before the name changed to VBF) in October of 1980. She gave her life to God in Pastor Ron’s office during a very difficult time in her marriage, and she has been walking with God for 43 years. She has been a part of Valley Bible Fellowship for 36 years. After eight years of serving at VBF, Vicky and her husband, Doug, took over the VBF church plant in Colorado Springs for 11  years. They have served at our Las Vegas Campus, Valley Vegas, for the past 17 years. One of her most cherished accomplishments was when Pastor Ron asked her to start a VBF Women’s Ministry. With no experience and lots of insecurities, she believed God would help her, and she started the first VBF Women’s Ministry in September 1987. To see VBF’s Women’s Ministry flourishing and thriving makes her extremely proud that she set the foundation. She continued her legacy of investing in women by overseeing the Women’s Ministry at Valley Vegas. Vicky has been married to her high school sweetheart, Doug, for 45 years and has two amazing children, Sarah and Seth. She is Nonna to her five grandchildren, Uriah, Givana, Titus, Micah, and Jordyn.

Debbie Vietti: Debbie Vietti started Valley Bible Fellowship with Pastor Ron Vietti in 1974 in Bakersfield, CA. The church started with ten teenagers, and has grown to thousands with multiple campuses all over California and Valley Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. Debbie is an integral part of VBF and the vision that has transformed thousands of women over the years. Debbie and Ron have two children, Josh and his wife, Ashley, and Tara and her husband, Jim. They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Nicole Dickey: Nicole Dickey is the Women’s Ministry Director for the multiple Bakersfield campuses of VBF and is also on the teaching rotation for Sunday services. She has a double Master's in Theological Studies and Global Leadership and is passionate about helping lead people closer to Jesus. She has over 25 years of experience working in mega-churches in Indiana, Florida, and Los Angeles, and has been on staff at VBF for 15 years. She resides in Bakersfield with her husband, John, a physician with a heart for missions, and her two young sons, Hezekiah and Zion. In her free time, she is either glamping in the RV with her family or deep into the clearance racks at TJ Maxx.

We will also have live worship and other guest speakers, such as the leadership of Valley Vegas, Breakthrough Church, and VBF’s Women’s Ministries, that will make this a weekend to remember!

What does my retreat price include? Hotel+Conference Ticket includes your room plus taxes for a two-night stay, Friday - Sunday. It also includes all conference sessions. The retreat price does not include breakfast/lunch/dinner, or parking at the hotel. The hotel offers a discounted rate of $10 per night per vehicle. Conference Only Tickets include all conference sessions (Friday-Sunday); come to as many as you prefer. Day-time parking is free at the hotel.

Who is the retreat for? Women aged 16 and above. Parent/legal guardian must accompany any minor under 18 years old. The retreat is a partnership between Valley Bible Fellowship, Valley Vegas, and Breakthrough Church; however, other churches are welcome to join us.

When does check-in open? Check-in will open at 4 pm in front of the conference room at the Grand Ballroom. Hotel and conference check-in will all take place with your Women’s Ministry team in front of the Grand Ballroom. Room check-in will ONLY occur at the hotel front desk after 9 pm on Friday.

Is childcare provided? Childcare will not be provided for this retreat. We kindly ask that little ones, including infants, not attend since participants will share rooms with other women. (The only exception would be if you’ve spoken with your roommates in advance and everyone is comfortable with an infant being present.)

Are tickets refundable or transferable? Retreat tickets are refundable until 30 days before the retreat. They are transferable up to 24 hours before the retreat. To switch names on your registration, please email Nicoled@vbf.org.
