Mighty Women Gathering
This month we will be studying Martha. As we dig into her story, we are going to identify how we can still be women of purpose while having our faith firmly placed at the feet of Jesus.
At our May Gatherings, we will be having a potluck breakfast at our AM Gathering and a potluck dessert at our PM Gathering, both will have free giveaways!! This will be our last gathering for this season.
Mighty Women AM & PM Gatherings meet the first Tuesday of each month and will provide the same worship and teaching.
AM Gathering: Join us from 9:30 am to 11 am for a light breakfast, worship, teaching Nicole Dickey, and table discussion. Mighty Women AM Gathering offers child care (with RSVP).
PM Gathering: Join us from 6 pm to 8 pm for dinner, worship, and teaching by Nicole Dickey. Dinner is served from 6 - 6:30 pm, with worship starting at 6:30 pm. Child care opens at 6:15 pm for those that RSVP for child care.

The journey of infertility can be filled with challenges, questions, emotions, feelings of loneliness, and isolation. Ladies in Waiting is a safe place where women who are currently navigating the complexities of infertility can come together to support and pray for one another. If you are currently experiencing infertility, we open our hearts to you and offer to walk alongside you with compassion and empathy while offering encouragement and hope. Our first meeting will be on Saturday, May 11, at 9 am. Space is limited, and we encourage you to call soon to secure a spot. Breakfast will be served. We created a Facebook Group that is about connecting blessings within the Empower Women’s Ministry. It’s here where our VBF women who have items/services that they would like to give away for FREE can connect with another VBF gal to bless. (This is not a buy/sell/trade group.) The intention is to create a space where those who would prefer to bless another gal with an item they no longer use have a space to post that item. EMPOWER is the Women's Ministry for the multiple campuses of Valley Bible Fellowship. Valley Bible Fellowship is a Bible-based church established in 1974, with multiple campuses throughout Bakersfield.
Now for who we really are... We are a group of women who desire to walk this journey with you! We believe that we were not created to walk this journey alone. Whether you are young/old, married or single, with children or without children, we have a place for you!
